3D Human Anatomy Atlas
A three-dimensional model of human anatomy with bilingual Vietnamese-English search, freely available to medical students and physicians. The tool is built and operated by RASA; the Society lists it among its training resources.
Learn from structure, not from static plates
The Atlas reconstructs the whole body from the BodyParts3D 4.0 anatomical dataset. Learners toggle individual systems, click any structure to read its bilingual label, separate the meshes and rotate the model through standard anatomical views.
For students at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and postgraduate trainees, it complements anatomy practicals and revision ahead of the live surgery sessions organised by the Society.
The Atlas works best on a computer; rotating and picking small meshes is difficult on a phone. The first load downloads the model data, so use a stable connection.

How to use it
Four operations to know before you start
Everything runs in the browser - no installation and no account required.
1. Start from a body system
Toggle each display group - skeletal, muscular, vascular, nervous, visceral - to keep only the layer under study.
2. Search by name
Type a Vietnamese name or an English term; the result takes you straight to the matching structure.
3. Select and isolate
Click a structure on the model to select it, hide the rest and read its bilingual label.
4. Explode and rotate
Use the explode slider and the standard views (anterior, posterior, lateral) to grasp spatial relationships.

Data source and limitations
The Atlas is a teaching and self-study resource. It must not be used for diagnosis, patient counselling or surgical planning in an individual case.

- Vietnamese terminology
- Structure names are provided bilingually. Where naming conventions differ, Terminologia Anatomica is the reference standard, with preference given to the terms used in the Department's textbooks.
