About us

A professional alliance, not a commercial body

MSAPS is a voluntary professional society of Vietnamese physicians working in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, dermatology and skin care. It was established under Decision No. 800/QD-HYH dated 24 May 2024 issued by the President of the Can Tho Medical Association.

The Society operates on a non-profit basis, self-funded, and is governed by the principles of democracy, equality, transparency and public accountability. Its activities extend from Can Tho City across the Mekong Delta provinces and nationwide.

What we do

Four pillars of activity

  • Training & CME

    Organising training and professional development; issuing continuing medical education certificates to members and trainees.

  • Scientific Research

    Participating in research programmes and projects; providing consultation, peer review and expert assessment at the request of state agencies.

  • International Cooperation

    Connecting domestic and international specialists, joining relevant international bodies and entering cooperation agreements in accordance with the law.

  • Community Service

    Delivering community and charitable activities; supporting scholarships for medical students with outstanding research achievements.
